In Episode 91, we host Professor Stephanie Bonnes, who is speaking with us about women’s experiences of sexual assault and harassment in the US military – across all branches.

Stephanie Bonnes is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Assistant Dean of the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven. Her scholarship broadly focuses on victimization at the intersections of gender, inequality, identity, and organizations. Her book, “Hardship Duty: Women’s Experiences with Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, and Discrimination in the U.S. Military” with Oxford University Press came out in DecemberHer work has been published in American Sociological Review, Feminist Criminology, Gender & Society, and Violence Against Women.
