Dr. Claire Lee is an Assistant Professor at the School of Criminology and Justice Studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she is a member of the Center for Internet Security and Forensics Education and Research. She is also the UMass Lowell Donahue Humanities Ethics Fellow (2021-2023). Dr. Lee’s research interests include cybercrime, cybersecurity, and cyberterrorism issues She has considerable experience in social big data and online data collection, big data analytics, and database creation. She has worked in the educational, media, and legal sectors in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, and Seoul. She currently serves as an Editor of the International Journal of Cybersecurity Intelligence and Cybercrime, an Academic Editor of PLoS One, and she is an Editorial Board member of the Sociological Review.
