Trying to make it. In this episode we speak with Dr. R.V. Gundur about his work on the drug trade in America.

R.V. is a criminologist based in Australia. He studies illicit enterprises, gangs, and cybercrime. He holds a PhD in criminology from Cardiff University, which is the basis of his book Trying to Make It, which we will talk about today. He also has degrees in International Relations and Latin American Studies and worked as a teacher in the US and Spain. Besides his book, his work has appeared in government reports and several academic journals and he has taught in the UK, Singapore, and Australia.
