Nathaniel Schutten is a PhD candidate in the School of Criminal Justice at SUNY – Albany and an incoming Assistant Professor in Criminal Justice at SUNY – Plattsburgh. He grew up in Canada and before beginning his graduate studies at UAlbany, received his BA from McMaster University and MA from the University of Toronto. His research primarily focuses on gun ownership and gun attitudes in America, and his work has appeared in Criminology and Justice Quarterly.
