William Moreto is an associate professor and interim graduate programs director in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University – Newark. He has published extensively on wildlife crime, wildlife crime prevention, and conservation-related enforcement, and has conducted fieldwork in Kenya, Nepal, the Philippines, and Uganda. He has collaborated with the international NGOs, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Re:wild, and has been involved in primary data collection in over 30 countries.
